Reputation moved into a black box. We opened it.

For decades, organizations could see what was written about them. Then generative AI became the first place people asked — and the answer arrived with no sources, no author and no way in.

We started DICTO to change that: to measure what AI says, explain why it says it, and give the people responsible for reputation a way to act. Not a chatbot, not a dashboard — a discipline.

Founded in Italy

Two founders kept watching colleagues ask ChatGPT about companies before ever visiting a website. The answers were confident, inconsistent — and unowned. DICTO was incorporated in Italy to close that gap.

Late 2024

The method & the Dicto Score™

We formalized our proprietary methodology and introduced the Dicto Score™ — a single, defensible index of how generative AI represents an organization across every major model.

2025

First enterprise engagements

Communications, brand and governance teams brought DICTO inside. We expanded multi-model coverage and began tracking narrative drift longitudinally, week over week.

Closed-loop governance

DICTO became a continuous discipline — analysis, recommendations, intervention and verification in one loop, built for institutions that answer to others.
